We arrived at 5:30pm on a Saturday and were immediately seated. Our server asked us for drinks and appetizers. Shortly after we were given a basket of chips with salsa (a bit spicy) and a white creamy sauce that was delicious. Roughly 3-5 minutes later our server came back and asked us for our food. I kid you not within 8 minutes of ordering the chefs had our food prepared and brought to our table. I've NEVER experienced service that fast before. I ordered chorizo street tacos and my girlfriend ordered the nachos supreme and we were both fed and full by the time we finished our meal. I will be back again without a doubt. Our server Alex was amazing
HUGE drink list! Lots of specialty margaritas but the house margarita hits the spot, especially when it's $9 (pictured).
Lots of variety in both the lunch and dinner menus. Most lunches are around $10 which is a good value for what you get. The quesadilla rellena was stuffed and delicious.
Everything was out quick and they serve complimentary chips and salsa - definitely try their house made white sauce!
I’ve been looking for real Mexican street corn since fright land. This place… doesn’t have it either. They put a bowl of corn on front of me. Cold. Mostly mayo, and a little cheese…. Ewe. Their shrimp tacos were alright as well.
Great vibe, outdoor seating in the square, friendly staff but most importantly, the food was delicious! And the pricing was really reasonable, we ate like kings. I got the fajita salad that had the best chicken and shrimp, and my husband got the steak fajita burrito. I've never seen him so happy about his dinner, he said it was the best steak and rice he's ever had. He wanted to save half of his plate because it was a big portion but it was "too good to risk the reheat". We will be back.
We used to love this place. We literally would come once a week or every 2 weeks. Unfortunately the last 2 times we went it was really bad. Maybe it's the kitchen staff but after taking one bite you could tell something was off maybe a bad onion or something? We thought it was a one-time bad experience. However after the second chance we gave them unfortunately there was something going bad on our food again. It wasn't fresh like it used to be and didn't taste good at all. Also my vegan meal had meat in it. While I know that places like this cannot be 100% cross contamination free this and the bad produce have convinced us not to come back. There has to be something going on with staff or management that needs to be addressed. The north wales location still seems fine and we may go back there but if we have the fame issue I don't think we'll ever go back. It's sad because honestly we loved going there and wanted the business to succeed.
This the first time for us at the Warrington location, we have been to the Montgomery location a few times and actually didn't realize this one was here and closer as well. We loved it just the same. Large great tasting portions, and fast great service. I always get the delicious fried beef chimmichanga.
Love Gran Rodeo will definitely be back.
Long winded not-so-positive review incoming (i apologize)
So!
I came here with my warrington soccer team as there are specials and discounts for the teams to take advantage of. I had heard 3 people tell me they got sick after eating here in the past so i just went with the margarita as it should have been 1/2 price . Little did my server tell me since i ordered the marg sugar free, it actually was full price somehow? I of course didn’t find out until we were brought the bill.
And another player ordered a half price burrito only for it to be full price , because our server didn’t specify that pork burrito was not half off .
And lastly she charged our card for the wrong order and had to void the payment 💀 Nice server and all but was a really uncomfortable experience.
And finally i actually did feel so sick after drinking the margarita i couldn’t believe it.
Don’t feel like cooking? Let Gran Rodeo do the cooking for you!
